Bespoke Wedding Gowns

Commissioning a tailor-made bridal gown gives you full control over every element of the design. This allows you to order and own a dress created just for you. Whether you envision yourself in a perfectly-proportioned, effortlessly elegant, Italian silk construction or an opulent, floor-sweeping creation, featuring jewel-encrusted bodice and billowing swathes of tulle and lace, I have the expertise to make your dream dress a reality.

The Design Process

The Consultation
During our first meeting, brides-to-be will be able to discuss the design, detailing and fabric of their dress. Browse bridal images and textiles to see what style you might like. I take the time to understand every bride so that her unique personality shines through in the design. I will also take into consideration the style of the wedding, the venue and the season..

Designing Your Gown
I will then draw up a few sketches of the designs discussed. Brides-to-be are then invited to view the sketches and finalise the design. We will also discuss different types of fabrics to give you an idea of the colour and texture of your final wedding gown.
Creating and Fitting The Mockup
Once you have selected the design you love, I will take your measurements and create a mockup of the final dress, also known as the toile, using calico fabric. Once the toile is complete, we will arrange a fitting at a place of your convenience. At this stage you will still be able to make changes to the design and add any additional features.
Creating The Gown
After your toile design and fabric choice has been finalised, I will carefully construct your gown using couture techniques I have mastered over the course of two decades. Additional fittings might be required, depending on the nature of the design.
The Result
An immaculate hand-stitched gown made to your individual specifications, which will have you looking and feeling utterly stunning and entirely unique – the way every bride should feel on her wedding day.
Opulent wedding gowns for the connoisseur bride.
